International Workshop on
Response and Feedback of Forest Ecosystem Carbon, Nitrogen and Water Cycles to Climate Change
October 12th-15th, 2017
Xishuangbanna, China
An international workshop on the response of forest ecosystems to climate change will be held between 12th– 15th October 2017 in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. The aims of this workshop are to bring together the world leaders in ecological science for (1) exchanging the most recent cutting-edge studies and ideas on the functions and responses of forest ecosystems to climate change; (2) establishing a new international collaboration network for elucidating the adaption and feedback mechanisms of forest ecosystems to regional and global climate change.
As the host, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) warmly welcomes you to attend the workshop and to share your experiences with leading Chinese as well as international ecological scientists.
Topics
Theme 1: The functions and key processes of carbon, nitrogen and water cycles in forest ecosystems
Theme 2: New techniques and methodologies.
Theme 3: The response, adaptation and feedback of carbon, nitrogen and water cycles of forest ecosystems to climate change.
Theme 4: Modelling and future prediction.
