The Federation for Internet-based Public Science Education (FIPSE), CAS has been recently established in Beijing. Prof. Hu Huabin, director of the information center at XTBG, was elected as executive member of the FIPSE.

The FIPSE is a non-profit organization composed of institutions and experts engaged in public science education. It will actively promote public science education by sharing scientific resources and applying computer network technology, and enhance cooperation and exchanges with foreign institutions.
