Scanning Electron Microscope (ZEISS EVO LS10; Genmany)

The Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) can be used to observe surface morphology of dried biological materials and non-living materials at nanometer level, and to take high resolution images. It can also be used to observe fresh living organisms in subcellular level. The SEM is also equipped with compatible software to analyze images taken, and Critical Point Drier and Sputter Coater for sample preparation.
