16 institutions have been recently approved to set provincial postdoctoral research mobile station (hereinafter referred to as “postdoc station”) of Yunnan. Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) has been approved to set Yunnan provincial ecology postdoctoral research mobile station.

Focusing on the rich biological resources in Yunnan, tropical China, and northern Southeast Asia, the ecology postdoc station carries out scientific research on forest ecology, resource plants, and conservation biology, aiming at the core issue of national biodiversity conservation and utilization. 

This postdoctoral research mobile station involves researchers from CAS Key Laboratory of Tropical Forest Ecology, CAS Key Laboratory of Tropical Plant Resource and Sustainable Use, and Center for Integrative Conservation.
