A 15-person delegation of consuls and officials from the consulates of Hungary, Greece, Korea, Australia, Brazil, UK, Germany, Singapore, Japan, and Poland paid a visit to Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) on July 24. Prof. Yang Yongping, director of XTBG, introduced biodiversity conservation achievements to the guests and showed them around the garden. 

The delegation visited the Aquatic Plant Garden, Palm Garden, Flower Garden and other living collections. They then visited the History Museum and tropical rainforest exhibitions. They also listened to introduction by Prof. Yang Yongping, especially concerning biodiversity research and conservation.
