Prof. Chen Jin, director of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) and director of Southeast Asia Biodiversity Research Institute (SEABRI), paid a visit to University of Yangon in Myanmar on invitation. 

Dr. Thaung Htike, Pro-Rector of University of Yangon, received XTBG delegates. The two sides held talks and discussed cooperation.  

The two sides agree to have deep cooperation in scientific research, academic visits, and graduate student education, etc.  

For the cooperation, the SEABRI is expected to play an important role.
