During the session of the 3^rd Xishuangbanna International Symposium, XTBG celebrated its 55^th birthday with an evening party on January 15. The party was attended by foreign participants in the Symposium, staff members, and family members of XTBG. The XTBG song named “Our Garden, Our Home” and a book introducing “XTBG’s history over the past 50 years” were released at the party.

The party was featured with vivid songs, instrumental musical playing, and dance with local flavors and characteristics. The party was aimed at not only recalling the memory of unremitting efforts by XTBG faculties and staff for generations, but longing for greater adventures in the future.

The party was closed with the singing of “Our Garden, Our Home” which ended with “It’s love that keeps us going through the storm. Our garden, our home, we build it together”.
