In recognition of outstanding performance in the construction and management of national nature reserves, a batch of administrations and individuals has been awarded advanced collective or individuals in January. Dr. Cao Min, deputy director of XTBG, is honored with the title of National Advanced Individual.

The honor was jointly conferred by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, State Forestry Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Water Resources, State Oceanic Administration, and Chinese Academy of Sciences. The honor is aimed at comprehensively promoting the sustainable development of nature reserves all over China.
