Mr. Guan Guozhong, executive vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Yunnan Provincial Committee, paid an inspection tour to XTBG on June 13. The visit was aimed at enhancing ecological construction and biodiversity protection in Xishuangbanna.
Ms. Dao Linyin, governor of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, and Dr. Chen Jin, director of XTBG, accompanied a visit within the garden.
Looking around some living collections and the Museum, and listening to introduction by Dr. Chen Jin, the officials spoke positively of the integration of science popularization and ecological protection in XTBG.
