Dr. Xia Yujiu, president and a professor at the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies of National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan, headed up a 4-person delegation to XTBG during August 11-19. The visit was aimed at academic exchanges and further cooperation in flux studies.

Prof. Cao Min, deputy director of XTBG, met the scholars and discussed cooperation potentials in studies on forest carbon flux.

The schoalrs delivered two lectures at XTBG.

Prof. Zhang Yiping and Assoc. Prof. Sha Liqing accompanied the scholars to have field visitis to Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem Station and Ailaoshan Forest Ecosystem Research Station.
