Mr. Zhou Zhenhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and director general of the Department of the United Front Work of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, paid a visit to XTBG on August 18. The visit was accomopanied by Mr. Jiang Pusheng, CPC secretary of Xishuangbanna.

Prof. Dr. Zhou Zhekun, deputy director of XTBG, extended his welcome to the guests before making a briefing regarding scientific research, species conservation, and public education, focusing on the work of applying for national 5A scenic spot.

Afterwards, Prof. Zhou Zhekun showed Mr. Zhou Zhenhong and his companions around the living collections like Distinctive Plant Collection, Fig Garden, Flower Garden, etc.

Attracted by the beautiful landscape, Mr. Zhou Zhenhong drew a picture of bamboo jointly with Mr. He Ruihua of XTBG.
