The “Training Workshop on data collection publishing and information sharing systems for field stations of CNERN and CERN” was held during May 25-27 at XTBG headquarters. The workshop brought together 120 participants from 53 field stations, CERN, CAS, MOST and Agriculture Publishing House nationwide.
The workshop was sponsored by the National Ecosystem Research Network of China (CNERN) and Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), and organized by Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem Station of XTBG.
The workshop was aimed at publishing the long-term monitoring data collection of the filed stations, constructing a platform for science data sharing, and managing databases.
The Chinese National Ecological Research Network (CNERN) is an integrated platform of the existing field stations supervised by different ministries, involving the national unifying design to integrate and standardize field observation station facility resources, observation equipment resources, data resources, as well as observation personnel resources. It also functions as a platform for national ecological observation and research with data sharing.
