The day of January 1, 2009 marks the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of XTBG. To celebrate this festive occasion, a campfire party was held on December 31 at XTBG headquarters.

     With the changes of seasons, we bid farewell to the outgoing year; with the arrival of bright sunshine and gentle breeze, we say hello to the New Year. The party is aimed at not only recalling the memory of unremitting efforts by XTBG faculties and staff for generations, but longing for greater adventures in the future.

At the very start of the party, Prof. Dr. Chen Jin extended his warm welcome and seasonal greetings. The faculties, staff, retirees, distinguished guests and friends from home and abroad enjoyed the evening party.

The party, including reciting, vivid songs and dance items with special local flavors and characteristics, showed the unity and harmony of XTBG and great achievements scored over the past 50years.

The joyous and harmonious celebration was featured with bright and beautiful campfire and fireworks.
