The construction project for Comprehensive Platform of Bioenergy & Conservation Biology has been officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and is to be initiated soon. The project construction scope is 23,900 square meters. The total investment is RMB 87.63 million, for which government grant accounts RMB 27.8 million and self finance RMB 59.83 million.

   Totally three proposals for infrastructure construction projects for research and education submitted by CAS Kunming Branch have also been approved. The other two are to be separately carried out by Guiyang Institute of Geochemistry and Yunnan Astronomical Observatory.
