The Karsts in Southern China, which is made up of the stone forest in Yunnan province, Libo county in Guizhou province and Wulong county in Chongqing, was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List on June 27 at the 31st World Heritage Committee’s annual meeting convened in New Zealand.
As a plant specialist in the expert panel of Stone Forest applying for world heritage, Prof. Zhu Hua has participated in field survey for twice and contributed to preparing for application documents.
