XTBG has made new achievement in the studies on plant-animal interactions. Recently an article with a title of “Adaptive functions of defensive plant phenolics and a non-linear response to nectar components” has been published in Functional Ecology 2007, 21, 96-100.  Functional Ecology is an official journal of the British Ecological Society.  It publishes experimental, theoretical or observational studies across all taxa and levels of biological organization in ecology. The Journal has an ISI Impact Factor of 3.149 in the year of 2005.
