On February 27, some officials of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) came to the Garden to inspect the implementation of national key projects contracted by XTBG, headed by its supervisor Ma Zuiliang, Office of Key Project Inspectors. Mr. Pei Qi, vice director of Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, accompanied the inspecting group to XTBG.
The inspecting group focused on the key project of Dragon’s Blood. Prof. Song Qishi, who’s in charge of the Project, reported the implementing progress and problems to the supervisor. As cooperation partner of the project, general manager of the Rainforest Pharmaceutical Factory also made a report. So far, the supervisor is satisfied with the progress of the project. The officials of NDRC wish the project a complete success and further studies will be carried out.
Afterwards, the officials made a field research on the experimental base and the Rainforest Pharmaceutical Factory. Mr. Li Hongwei, deputy director of XTBG, accompanied the inspecting group a tour.
Supervisor Ma Zuiliang also made an on-site study on the National Engineering Research Center for Biodiesel Energy to be established. The supervisor expected that the preparing work would be fully well-done, and the NDRC would give active support to the establishment of the Center.
