Dr. Pramook Benyasut, deputy director general ofQueen Sirikit Botanic Garden (QSBG) headed up a 16-person delegation to Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) on September 10. Prof. Chen Jin and Cao Min of XTBG met the guests and discussed cooperation in gardening & horticulture, talent training, and international cooperation.

The guests were shown around the Central Laboratory, Key Lab of Tropical Forest Ecology, and Key Lab of Tropical Plant Resource and Sustainable Use, living collections, and Green Stone Forest.

The Thai delegation spoke highly of the research facilities, campus construction, species conservation, and public education of XTBG. They would like to have comprehensive cooperation with XTBG in coming years.
