An 11-people delegation of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) of UK visited Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) on September 20. The RHS delegation was headed by Mr. Jonathan Hutchinson, team leader at RHS Garden Rosemoor. The RHS delegation visited the Flower Garden, Medicinal Plant Garden, Fig Collection, Palm Garden, and Shade Plant Collection. They communicated with XTBG colleagues in horticultural management and botanical classification. They also spoke highly of the rich plant species, beautiful landscape, and man-oriented science popularization of XTBG. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is one of the world’s leading horticultural organizations and the UK's leading gardening charity. Its mission is “To be the leading organization demonstrating excellence in horticulture and promoting gardening”.
