International training program on biodiversity and sustainable development a complete success

On September 19, a closing ceremony for the “International Training Program on Biodiversity and its Sustainable Development for Developing Countries” was held at XTBG headquarters. The closing ceremony was chaired by Dr. CAO Min, deputy director of XTBG.

The 15 trainees from 6 developing countries were conferred on certificates of completion by Dr. CHEN Jin, director of XTBG.

Two representatives from Cambodia and Malaysia expressed their gratitude to XTBG and the participating teachers.

In addition to lectures, seminars, and discussion, the trainees got a chance to field visit the 20-ha plot, botanical gardens nationwide in China and national nature reserves.

The training course ended in a complete success on September 23.
