On the occasion of visiting XTBG, Prof. Jerry Baskin from University of Kentucky has been recently conferred on an Adjunct Professorship Appointment Letter by XTBG.
Prof. Jerry Baskin and his wife Prof. Carol Baskinwere invited to have academic exchanges on seed ecology during Dec 25, 2008 to Jan. 9, 2009. They delivered lectures entitled “Classification and phylogency of seed dormancy” and “Seed dormancy and seed banks” respectively.
They participated in the international workshop marking XTBG’s 50th anniversary and were present at the first International Consultation as members of the Expert Committee.
Prof. Jerry Baskin and Prof. Carol Baskin have been keeping good cooperation ties with XTBG since 2005. It’s their third visit to the Garden.
