Prof. Woo Norman, Chairman of Department of Biology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) headed up a 17-person professors delegation to visit XTBG on August 7.

 Receiving the guests, Dr. Hu Huabin briefed achievements and progress in scientific research, species preservation, and public education. XTBG director Chen Jin met with the CUHK professors.

   The professors had academic exchanges with XTBG scientific personnel and graduate students. Prof. Diane Dianjian Guo and Prof. Jiang Liwen delivered lectures entitled “Interferring gene regulatory network in Arabidopsis stress response” and “Plant prevacuolar and endosomal compartments” respectively.

Afterwards, the guests were shown around the Garden.
