According to an announcement by National Postdoc Management Committee, 300 newly graduated Ph.D students or soon-to be graduated Ph.D students will be funded by the China Postdoc Innovation Talent Supporting Program. Wu Junen, who is to graduate from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is on the name list.
Wu Junen, under the guidance of Prof.Liu Wenjie, will receive a fund of 600,000 RMB for his postdoc studies in two years.
During his studies in XTBG, WU Junen has shown excellent science potential and academic morality and engaged in life science research. He has got his research results published in Journal of Applied Ecology, Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment, Scientific Reports, etc.
In the following two-year postdoc studies, Prof. Liu Wenjie will be his cooperative supervisor for postdoc work.
The China Postdoc Innovation Talent Supporting Program is a special program organized by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS) and National Postdoc Management Committee. It aims to encourage newly graduated (from universities in the Chinese mainland) PhD students or soon-to be graduated (from universities in the Chinese mainland) PhD students to engage in further postdoctoral research work.
