Dr. Chen Yajun of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is on the list of laureates for 2015 CAS President Award. He is honored with CAS President Excellence Award. 

During his studies in XTBG, Chen Yajun focused on studies of tropical lianas. He has got his research results in such journals as New Phytologist, Tree Physiology, American Journal of Botany, Functional Plant Biology. 

The President Awards are the top honor for graduate students at Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Receiving of this award reflects the improvement in innovation capability and training quality of graduate students at XTBG.
