Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is regarded as an ideal place for enjoying the beauty of night lightening up by fireflies. That’s because of its clear skies, beautiful landscapes, and other environmental advantages.

The fireflies live in a variety of warm environments, as well as in more temperate regions, and are a familiar sight on summer evenings. Fireflies love moisture and often live in humid regions of Asia and the Americas.

Fireflies are familiar, but few realize that these insects are actually beetles, nocturnal members of the family Lampyridae.

The sight of thousands of fireflies in a botanical garden at a dark night is one of the beautiful sites your eyes can withhold.

XTBG is an enormous oasis where fireflies unite. Come and see the underlying beauty of these creatures in the dark that make even the night so beautiful.
