A special exhibition featuring succulent plants is ongoing at the Distinctive Plant Collection of the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) from January 3 to February 28. The succulents show is part of celebration to greet the lunar Chinese New year.

About 400 individuals in 60species of succulents are on show. Staged with different styles and background, the exhibition displays the exotic, fascinating and wonderful plants from the world of succulents.

The exhibition is also organized to promote better understanding and appreciation of some of nature’s most unusual and unique creations, and the conservation and preservation of threatened and endangered plant life throughout the world.
