Birding is the act of observing birds in their natural habitats. Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is an ideal location to venture for excellent birding, for it is home to 267 species of birds.
With an aim to raise environmental awareness and spark interest about nature and conservation, XTBG is to hold its 6th biding festival on November 10-12.
The birding festival features guided birding, nature excursions, seminars, displays, exhibits, and vendors.
Birders and bird lovers will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape, living collections, and primary tropical rainforest with many different birds around.
Participants will have lots of opportunities to share birding stories during field trips, workshops, etc.
A book entitled “Birds of Xihsuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden” will be released at the festival.
