Thousands of blooms in different shape, color, pattern and texture, will be showcased at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) from April 12-25. Visitors may enter a world of spectacular color.

The orchid exhibition will feature an astonishing array of blooming orchids in a lush tropical garden. Numerous orchid species from many parts of the world will feast the eyes of visitors.

   In addition to living orchids, an exhibit of art works on orchids is also available.

  The orchid show is aimed to raise awareness of orchid conservation and scientific research on orchids.

  For local people in Xishuangbanna, they can visit XTBG free of charge by showing their ID cards on April 12. It’s kind of reward for celebrating the new year of Dai nationality, the Water Splashing Festival.
