Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is at a peak period of winter camps for teenagers to explore science in late January and February. Hundreds of young nature lovers come to the garden to enjoy natural-science related activities, from botany to entomology, ecology, and field trips. They explore the wide world of plants with hands-on investigations, nature walks, environmental education and other science-based activities. They also develop job skills like teamwork, mentoring, and communication.
Explore Science is one of the important popular science activities of XTBG.  It has  lasted for 8 years. More and more teenagers have been introduced to a lifetime of respect and appreciation for the natural world that sustains us all.
