The season of summer camp brought groups of kids and adolescents from nationwide to enjoy nature at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG). The summer camp is a fabulous experience and a wonderful way for kids and teens to explore and interact with the natural world.

“Kids rainforest camp” and “Parent-child rainforest Camp” are two regular activities organized by XTBG in winter and summer holidays, which allow participants to explore tropical rainforest and know diverse plant with a keen sense of wonder. In addition to their curious interaction with the natural world, the campers also get an opportunity to have an understanding on scientific research by being shown around the laboratories, herbarium and seed bank, etc.

For students from Beijing No.4 High School, they got a chance to work closely with XTBG scientists in addition to the regular activities like exploring the tropical rainforest, wildlife watching in the evening, etc.

More kids and teens will come to enjoy nature and the activity is still going on. If you are interested, please come and join us.
