As other camps over the past times, the winter camp was aimed at leading children to have a better understanding on tropical rainforest, having intimate contact with nature, and increasing their awareness of protecting ecological environment and loving nature.
In addition to such activities as having a scientific exploration in the tropical rainforest, watching wildlife in the night, ecological games, ethnic culture travel, etc., the camp participants got a chance to closely work with the scientists, namely “Hands in hands between scientists and kids” activity. They were also shown around the Central Laboratory and the Herbarium.
