Headed up by its deputy director Liu Xingyao, a 7-person group of Shenzhen Fairylake Botanical Garden visited XTBG during March 24-26. The two sides talked about enhancing and promoting cooperation in science popularization.

Assistant director Yin Shouhua and Mr. Zhu Hongxiang held talks with the guests. Primary intent has been reached on holding a joint exhibition themed around “mysterious tropical rainforest and colorful ethnic cultures” in Shenzhen Fairylake Botanical Garden in September and October 2008. Further cooperation will be enhanced later.

The visiting group had field tours within and outside the Garden, including living collections, scientific facilities, tropical rainforest scenic spots, and neighboring ethnic villages.
