As the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays approach, an art sketching exhibition themed with “Painting the rainforest, colors of Mengla” is held at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanic Garden (XTBG).

As a core component of the Mengla Tropical Rainforest Art Season, the "Painting the Rainforest" art program specially invited artists from the renowned Da Fen Village in Shenzhen to immerse themselves in Mengla. Using their paintbrushes as a "key to decipher" the region's beauty, the artists focused on capturing the splendor of the tropical landscape.

Rare flora and fauna of tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna are creative materials for artists. With delicate brushstrokes, the artists have captured the vibrant life and unique rhythm of the rainforest, allowing their brushes to "dance" in harmony with the lush environment.

A total of 74 oil painting works are on display, featuring a rich array of rainforest elements including Asian elephants, peacocks, dense jungles, and Dai ethnic villages.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Environmental Education Center of XTBG until October 8. Come and enjoy of the splendor of tropical rainforest!
