The Department of Personnel and Education is  a functional division in charge of the recruitment, employment, welfare, insurance, family planning, assignment, cultivation, title evaluation, promotion, payment, rewarding and punishment of the faculty and staff. It also deals with the management of postgraduate students and the students from Puer College .
