Dr. James W. Larrick got his MD/PhD at Duke Medical Center in receptor Molecular biology. He used to join medical house-staff training at Stanford.

In 1991, he founded Panorama Research Institute, An independent biopharmaceutical institute located in Silicon Valley, California.

Out of Panorama they have co-founded about 20 companies, diverse interests including therapeutic antibodies, therapeutic proteins, novel diagnostics, circulating tumor cells. etc.

PLANT CONNECTION:
In 1994, he found Planet Biotechnology Inc. Planet has pioneered the development of transgenic plants to make therapeutic antibodies--currently focused on tobacco production.
