Research findings on Taccaceae chosen candidate for Top ten 2005 Basic Research News of China

Recently the research findings of “ Predicting mating patterns from pollination syndromes: the case of ‘sapromyiophily’ in Tacca chantrieri (Taccaceae)”,accomplished by Associate Prof. Zhang Ling etc, has been chosen as candidate for the Top ten 2005 Basic Research News of China.

Co-organized by Ministry of Science &Technology and China Association for Science & Technology, Top ten Basic Research News of China aims to enlarge the influence of Chinese basic research, to encourage the scientific personnel and attract concerns and support on basic research.. In 2005, altogether 31 reports on research findings have been chosen as candidate news.

 

 The peer-reviewed paper titled “ Predicting mating patterns from pollination syndromes: the case of ‘sapromyiophily’ in Tacca chantrieri (Taccaceae)” has been published in American Journal of Botany. 2005; 92:517-524.
