Prof. Harald Schneider visited the Natural History Museum (in German: Museum für Naturkunde (MfN)) to discuss further research collaborations involving researchers of the MfN and XTBG with focus on training opportunities and the rapid assessment of biodiversity in SE Asia with emphasis on Karst diversity.
These discussions aim to establish research programs as promised in the MoU signed between both institutions in February 2018.
As part of the visit, he presented a seminar on the importance of macroevolution to the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources.
